10th Shanghai Biennale
“Robotic Future”
As part of the 10th Shanghai Biennale the ICD/ITKE Research Pavilion 2013-14 was shipped and reassembled to be exhibited at the Minsheng Art Museum, in Shanghai, from the 17th of January untill the 28th of February. The exhibition “Robotic Future” showcases an international selection of innovative concepts towards robot-based design and fabrication. The exhibition includes 3 full scale demonstrators that highlight the potential of fiber composites in architectural design and construction.
The Exhibition was officially opened on the 17th of January with talks by Philip F. Yuan (Tongji University), XU Weiguo (Tsinghua University), Roland Snooks (RMIT) and Moritz Dörstelmann (ICD, University of Stuttgart).
